hahaha that's hilarious. Yeah people say I am like Santa but instead of giving out presents I give out fear, and they say I'm more generous with the distribution of it as well as I am indiscriminate with who I give it to.

what does sketchy mean? I have trouble deriving the meaning of that word because it seems to have multiple context.

for a while but magnesium lowers are too weak and the dropouts crack off. Aluminum lowers would work.

If you are local (live in calgary) if i lower the prices anymore its nor worth my time to sell it as it takes nearly an hour to get it all mailed out and all.

yeah its a good policy. Use whatever you can as thats light and if it breaks get something stronger. No point adding strength if you don't need it.

yeah thanks for the advice but forged are stronger than cnc. Cnc are lighter. The main reason people dont run bmx cranks on trials bikes is because they arent wide enough so they kick the chainstay when you pedal. Profile sells a 6" spindle though so with that their is just barely enough clearance between the frame and cranks.

the forged ones? No. If you run a sfk bottom bracket and echo forged cranks that is the strongest possible crank set up you can get on a trials bike. It is still weaker than a profile titanium set up and slightly heavier as well. If you run lightweight trials crank set ups they just break really fast.

good old weaved spokes. I used to have those. You gotta tighten them like mad to have a strong wheel build

Its amazing cause its strong too. I can 360 it off a 6 set 70 times a day and not have straighten the wheel or anything.

lol you should become ridiculously ripped and do the same photo with a 50lb dh bike and tell people it weighs 20lbs.

(Jun 4, 2009 at 12:56) (Below Threshold) show comment
yeah honestly its probably not that hard. Once your bike is under 21 lbs every lb of weight is liek 1000$ of upgrades.

dob is the company that made that frame. Well not really dob is owned by zhi I believe. They make magnesium frames that are half the weight of normal frames and 3/4 the strength.

no its just light. Try doing that with a 20lb weight its not too hard and my bike is under 20.

hehe, yeah I use a lot of weak frames because I like the geo. I rod the dob cause of the geo mainly. The bionic b5r has identical geo but is strong so thats what i ride now. The toxsin was too short for me.

your probably right. I know a lot about 20" mod trials bikes but this was the first 24" trials bike Ive run. I really don't know all that much about the geo. If you look at the more recent pic that configuration was better.
